Calling All Sistahs with Laura's Loft & CAS-Ual Fridays!!!

Calling All Sistahs!!
1 in 8 women in the US will develop invasive breast cancer in her lifetime.

On August 17th, 2015, an awesome friend of ours became part of that statistic.  Calling All Sistahs was started by Michele Gross, owner of CAS-ual Fridays stamps, shortly after her breast cancer diagnosis.  It's her hope to create Breast Cancer Awareness beyond the month of October by reminding you to do your self breast exams on the 17h of every month.  We want to use these projects each month to encourage all of you do to the same.  You can read more about Michele's story here.

The Calling All Sistahs collection was created by Michele with the intent of donating 50% of her profits from all sales to Breast Cancer Awareness and Prevention charities, in honor of all women battling or who have battled breast cancer.

Be sure to join us on the 17th of every month for special projects created with the Calling All Sistahs collection and a reminder to your self exams!

I'm so thrilled to be a part of a DT that's doing so much for a good cause. I'm also thrilled that Laura's Loft is one of the first shops to carry the Calling All Sistahs collection!  Laura also wants to continue funding the fight so she'll be donating 50% of all the profits from the Calling All Sistahs collection sold at her shop to breast cancer research near her in VA.

**This is a reminder to do your self exams!!**

And remind all your sistahs, too!

If you need information on how to do them, it can be found here.  If you need any additional information on breast cancer, it can be found at

Now onto the art!!  This card was created using the Hope Fri-Die!

Since this is a hop, you'll want to be sure to visit our next stop and that's Robbie!  If you got lost, our hop starts here!

There are wonderful prizes to be won from this hop!  Laura is giving away two $25 store credits to Laura's Loft to random commenters who visit all the blogs!!!  It's definitely worth hopping along!

Thanks so much for looking girls!!  Get hopping and get checking yourself!  Laters!

  1. Thanks for all you do! Great idea! My sister was diagnosed last May with Stage 2 Breast cancer, had 12 rounds of chemo, a lumpectomy, and radiation. Today, she is a survivor and is cancer free. Sharing your link with all my "sistahs" too.

  2. Love your pretty pink ribbon card! So pretty with that sparkle! Great reminder to do our monthly exams!

  3. Adorable card and great hop so far!

  4. I like that you went a different way from everyone else but you're still sending a message loud and clear. Thanks for taking time to pass along this important message.

  5. A sweet and uplifting card with a wonderful message of hope.

  6. How pretty! I love the hope heart with the glitter ribbon!
