Happy Friday! It's a new challenge at Crafting with Friends and as always, our theme is Anything Goes! Our lovely sponsor is Bugaboo Stamps and I'm working with Bug Girl Side Peek! I actually picked this image because it reminds me of a scene in the opening sequence of Gilmore Girls!
Just a few challenges to round out this crazy crafty month:
Be sure to visit the blog to see the rest of the DT's work! Thanks so much for looking and happy crafting. Laters!!
Happy St. Patrick's Day!! I really wanted to make a fun card today but one that wasn't really limited TO the day. So I made this card that doesn't have shamrocks or a sentiment. I really like how it turned out.
Hi everyone! It's the fifteenth and that means time for a new challenge at Crafty Girlz!! Our theme this month is really special, it's all about our Mums!!!! We're also now a Just For Fun challenge, which means no sponsors--we're using our stash!!! I know I have plenty to use :D
Twenty years ago today, Buffy the Vampire Slayer premiered. Buffy was one of my favorite shows, but only for the first three seasons. When they spun Angel off into his own show, the whole thing became a disaster. Anyways. I made a Buffy card today, to celebrate.
My favorite doll, my favorite toy, my favorite everything Barbie is 58 today. I have so many wonderful memories of playing with this doll. My Barbie dolls weren't just models and beauty pageant contestants, but they were astronauts and nurses and lawyers. They owned soda shops and Pizza Hut, one was an ambassador for UNICEF. Barbie could be ANYTHING, whether she was wearing a Dollar Tree dress or a Donna Karan coat or a cut off sock (don't act like you didn't do this). She was always inspiring to me. She's still inspiring to me. And every year I make a birthday card that celebrates her, because she deserves to be celebrated.
I always like to make a card for International Women's Day!! This year I wanted something that sort of represented sisterhood. We as women are often awful to each other instead of supportive of our successes.
Hi everyone! It's the first Sunday of the month and that means it's time for a new challenge at Angie's Digi Stamps!! Our theme is always Anything Goes and our super fun twist this month is Monochromatic with Green!!! I'm working with a super fun image, Figment the Dragon!
HAPPY NATIONAL CRAFT MONTH!!! It's my third annual year of 31 Days of Crafting posts, where I try to post at least one project each day. It's a tall order but I know I can do it!
I've never made a card inspired by any of the Chicago shows before. Chicago Fire is my FAVORITE show and the others are pretty close to that in my book. I'm SO EXCITED for the addition of Chicago Justice and for the all night Chicago-thon tonight on NBC! I wanted to make a love card, not only because I love the shows but because they have so much heart to them. The background is representative of the colors of the shows' logos blending together as one :D
