**ANYTHING GOES** New Challenge with Angie's Digital Stamps!!

Hi everyone!  It's the first Sunday of the month and that means it's time for a new challenge at Angie's Digi Stamps!!  Our theme is always Anything Goes but we always have a twist as well!   I wanted to make a Father's Day card with this awesome car image. I went for a vintage look since it's an older style car.

Just a few challenges:

Birthdays for Boys

As I work on my arsenal of cards for Cards For Soldiers, I noted someone asked for more masculine birthday cards.  I JUST got this awesome stamp and I thought, why not stamp a stack? I like when I can make a lot of the same card, it makes for a assembly line and I really like that.

Now this color is my favorite, I think, but I like how all four came out.

I actually think the rust one is the most realistic for the kind of old truck it is though.  I do like the differences in the colors.

Compendium of Curiosities 3 Challenge - Week 32 - Frosted Film

I wouldn't be me if I wasn't turning this in at the last minute!!!!  The Compendium of Curiosities 3 Challenge this week was Frosted Film, which I looooove.  You can find this technique in Tim's book, A Compendium of Curiosities, Vol.3 which you can purchase here.

Their lovely sponsor is the Funkie Junkie Boutique!  They're offering up a $25 gift card!

My card features a Frosted Film border (and that doily die that I FINALLY got and will be using on EVERYTHING now!) and I love the vintage feel of it!

A close up of the Frosted Film border...

It doesn't really show up in the photo, but it's shimmeryish and inked purple.

    A few challenges, of course:

**VINTAGE** New Challenge With Crafty Creations!!

Happy Hump Day!!  It's time for a new challenge with Crafty Creations and this fortnight our theme is VINTAGE!!!

Our lovely sponsor is Whiff of Joy Stamps, and they're giving our lucky winner this adorable stamp set!

I love vintage so I had some great stamps in my stash to work with.  This card also marks the first time I tea dyed cardstock.  I LOVE how it turned out!  I'll definitely be doing that again.  It was super easy too.  I'd read all kinds of tutorials about brewing it with salted water and I wasn't down for that, so I made myself a cup of tea and when it was brewed, took the wet teabag out and let it cool for a bit.  When it was room temp I just picked it up and rubbed it over my cardstock, front and back.  Then I wrapped the cardstock in a paper towel to absorb the excess and let it dry between a stack of magazines.  Can't wait to do it with some tags.

I'm just entering a few challenges:
