Compendium of Curiosities Challenge, Week Seven

Happy Friday!  I'm right under the line again with my project for the Compendium of Curiosities Challenge, but I made it!  (I already know that my New Year's Resolution for 2015 will be to be more punctual!)

The lovely Linda Ledbetter is hosting a super fun challenge this fortnight, with the theme being Painted Industrial.  This can be found on Page 46 of A Compendium of Curiosities, Vol. 3.  Pick up your own copy here.

Our beautiful sponsor this challenge is Inspiration Emporium!  They're giving away a $50 gift certificate, how much damage could you do with that?  Heehee.

This was my first time working with the Foil Tape Sheets, but I just LOVED them and will work with them again soon!!

I'm still not sure I don't want to add something, but this was a great technique!!

I'm entering a few challenges with this card:

Thanks so much for looking and happy crafting.  Laters!!

  1. Great use of the technique, Lisa, and squeaking in late is better than after the deadline. :-D Glad you made that challenge and we're so tickled that you chose to also play in our challenge at Through the Craft Room Door. Hope to see you again next time.

  5. The foil is an old technique that is truly fresh again! It is so crisp and clean here... Not sure what you used on the wings, but they are delightful as well! Thank you so much for sharing your project & creativity at our house!

  6. Hi Lisa! Your painted industrial technique panel looks really cool behind your dress form. You did a nice job on the technique and your card turned out really well. First time using the metal foil sheet? You did fantastic! They are really fun to work with! Thanks for sharing with all of us at CC3C. <3 Candy
