Winter Wonderland - Momenta Brand Ambassador Post!!

Happy Hump Day!!  And happy 2019!!  It's my first Momenta Brand Ambassador post of the year, and I've got a winter card for you!  I like to send greetings all through the season.  I used one of my favorite paper pads, Metallic Watercolor for my main imagery, letting the sentiment sticker just accent the background.  I really love these Christmas vellum stickers, there's a nice assortment of sentiments on one sheet!

DIEcember - Day Twenty-One - Sometimes The Card Is The Present....

....okay so this isn't really one of those times, but it also kind of is.  Usually when I say the card is the present, it's filled with popping-up gift cards.  This time the card LOOKS like the present!!!  I made a TON of these and donated them to Cards for Soldiers.  I just love how they came out.

I liked it with all the patterns too, it's just a fun card!

Reindeer Games - Momenta Brand Ambassador Post!

Happy Thursday!!  I've got another Momenta Brand Ambassador post for you today, and I'm playing along again with the #MerryAndBrightChallenge!  Today's fun theme is #MisbehavingReindeer and I instantly thought of reindeer games and what would they do if they jumped the sleigh for the afternoon?  I pictured them tossing around an ornament like a ball, and that's where the inspiration for this slider card came from!

So ya'all know how much I love my Momenta paper.  The card's background is made from the Watercolor Metallic cardstock, and I cut the reindeer with Abstract Marble.  I used a scrap from the Watercolor pad for the ornament.  The word dies are Momenta too. I like to mix sizes and fonts for my sentiments so I used Hello Fetti word dies for the Hello and Hope/Dream/Believe for the joy.

Elfin Tags - Brea Reese Brand Ambassador Post!

Happy Tuesday!!  I've got a new Brea Reese Brand Ambassador post for you today, with a set of Christmas tags!!   I know we're all busy for the holidays, but don't forget about the #MerryandBrightChallenge!!!  Simply create a card using each day's theme and your favorite Momenta, Brea Reese and or Art-C products and post it using the hashtag #MerryandBrightChallenge!!!  Be sure to tag whichever company you use, #breareese @breareese #mymomenta @mymomenta #myartc @my_artc with your creations!! Today's theme is #FavoriteHolidayMovie and of course, mine is Elf!!  I knew I wanted to make tags so I grabbed some stamps from my stash and started watercoloring!

The first thing I did was watercolor my backgrounds.  I like to blend colors, so working with a combination of the Jewels Professional Watercolors and Classics Professional Watercolors sets for my backgrounds.  I blended some of the watercolors with Glitter Inks and Liquid Glitter.  I set them aside to dry for awhile and colored my sentiment background and the Elf legs and hats with the same watercolors.  (And yes I had the movie on while I made these!)  I used a waterbrush and the same watercolors to color in all the bells and let that dry again.  After the backgrounds dried, I took the Metallic Neutrals Pens and colored the ribbons on the bells.  If you use these pens last they're much brighter than if you watercolor over them.  I want to add that if you haven't tried these pens, you must.  You get a fine point and a brush in each shade which is awesome.
