I have all these Celtic border dies, bought because they give me Charmed vibes. I love how cutting them out is foiled cardstock and gluing them on a patterned paper made this card come together just like that.

**SPRING INTO CARDMAKING IG HOP** Week One - Birth Month Flowers

I actually had so much fun making this card.  I had to research what November's birth flower is, and it's chrysanthemum, and then I had to raid my stash for something I could use.  I got this set from Unity Stamp Co. along with some astrological stamps last year and had forgotten all about it.  The stamps are TINY but I made it work.  And I just love this card sketch, you might see different variations of this card in the future :)

I came across this cut and emboss stencil in my stash the other day, and I'd never used it so I decided to make a card with it.  While I do really like how it came out, I'm also not sure it doesn't need something additional!

It's hard to photograph shaker cards vertically, because all the filler goes to the bottom!

**SUMMER NIGHTS** New Challenge with Get Creative Challenge!!

Hi everyone!  It's a new challenge at Get Creative Challenges and our theme is Summer Nights!!  With all the heat and humidity, this is the perfect challenge to inspire summer-themed creations!  I took an awesome stamp from Unity Stamp Co and turned what I think was intended to be a sunset image into a moonlit scene.

**ANYTHING GOES** New Challenge with The Creative Crafters!!

Happy middle-of-the-month!  It's the fifteenth and that means it's time for a new challenge at Creative Crafters!  As always our challenge is Anything Goes!!!  I swear, I think I spent ten years making this card.  In the end, it came out really cute and I love it, but MAN.

I think my die cutting machine started smoking with this one.  I used my Diamond Press Marquis for everything but the "crepe paper" streamers and balloon strings.  They both cut better with my Big Shot.  And I tried something different with the balloon strings, I didn't put adhesive on my cardstock and instead used Bearly Art glue.  I approve of how it turned out!

See those cupcakes??  They're about a quarter of an inch each. Assembled.  And they're three parts.  Lots of Coke and Ruffles were involved in the creation of those cupcakes.  And I can't forget my current embellishment tool (I think the one I haven't broken yet is Pinkfresh Studios?), every crafter should have five of them!

Create It 3 Ways Instagram Hop!

Hi everyone!  I’m participating in an Instagram hop today called Create It 3 Ways!  Hosted by the lovely @amritapettus, this fun hop will take place the third Saturday of every month!  Super fun.  Our first theme is Father's Day/Masculine and I chose to use this amazing Erin Lee Creative cover plate for my cards!

Each of the cards has a different theme while using something the same, that's the point of this challenge.  I set out to do a birthday card, thank you card and a Father's Day card.  Two out of three ain't bad, right?

Initially, this was going to be the birthday card, but I just felt like the Thank You theme worked better here, I don't know why.

My favorite of the three!!  I didn't think this one needed a sentiment, it was almost like it detracted from its awesomeness so I left it as is.

I used all textured and handmade papers which I think really stands out here.
