Mom Deserves a BREAK!!!!

Hi everyone!!  I'm so excited about the Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!  I myself am a HUGE coffee lover (everything but drinking it lol!!) and so I'm jumping in and creating a few different projects.

This card is a combo for Mother's Day.  I know a LOT of moms run entirely on coffee.  I actually have a friend who gets a literal basket of coffee every year for Mother's Day.

Kat Scrappiness Charity Blog Hop for Coffee Oasis!

Good morning!!!!  Today is the start of the Kat Scrappiness Charity Blog Hop for Coffee Oasis!!  When I found out that Kathleen was going to do this, I knew I wanted to participate!

I wanted to make a Christmasy coffee card, and I don't have a ton of Kat Scrappiness products so I used what I had! I'm a huge fan of these Distressed Edge dies, so I used the Circles, Squares and Rectangles for this card.


That's lots of fun projects and prizes so be sure to comment on every post! There are two ways to WIN: (1) Participants either need to make a project and link theirs when the hop opens and Kathleen will pick random winners. Everyone linking their project is eligible. Unity Blog Hop!!!



Happy Sunday all!  I'm hopping along with some other former GIU girls today and the Unity Stamps blog!!  If you stop by each blog and leave a comment, you could win some incredible Unity stamps!!

We were asked to create with our favorite Unity kit, but I could no sooner choose a favorite Unity kit than I could choose a favorite boy band!!  So I decided to use my CURRENT favorite kit, which is the December KOM, Always Been You.  I'm especially obsessed with this rose stamp in particular because it reminds me of Beauty and the Beast.

Calling All Sistahs with Laura's Loft & CAS-Ual Fridays!!!


Calling All Sistahs!!
1 in 8 women in the US will develop invasive breast cancer in her lifetime.

On August 17th, 2015, an awesome friend of ours became part of that statistic.  Calling All Sistahs was started by Michele Gross, owner of CAS-ual Fridays stamps, shortly after her breast cancer diagnosis.  It's her hope to create Breast Cancer Awareness beyond the month of October by reminding you to do your self breast exams on the 17h of every month.  We want to use these projects each month to encourage all of you do to the same.  You can read more about Michele's story here.

The Calling All Sistahs collection was created by Michele with the intent of donating 50% of her profits from all sales to Breast Cancer Awareness and Prevention charities, in honor of all women battling or who have battled breast cancer.

Be sure to join us on the 17th of every month for special projects created with the Calling All Sistahs collection and a reminder to your self exams!

I'm so thrilled to be a part of a DT that's doing so much for a good cause. I'm also thrilled that Laura's Loft is one of the first shops to carry the Calling All Sistahs collection!  Laura also wants to continue funding the fight so she'll be donating 50% of all the profits from the Calling All Sistahs collection sold at her shop to breast cancer research near her in VA.

CF Calling All Sistahs with Laura's Loft & CAS-Ual Fridays!!!

Calling All Sistahs!!

I'm featuring some great products today from Laura's Loft.  For the sentiment, I've used the Avery Elle Simply Said: Hello set.  I love how it's a winter card but not a holiday card.  Could work for lots of occasions!!


You can also see the snowflakes have been heat embossed.  I used the WOW Atlantic Seaspray embossing powder.  I'd never used their powders before and they truly are a WOW.


It's green and gold and platinum and awesome.  Perfect for this time of year!

Happy Birthday Alice!!


Today we are celebrating the 150th Anniversary of Alice in Wonderland, and what better way to do that, than to share lots of creative projects inspired by this wonderful story.

Not only will you see lots of amazing artwork today, but you can also win prizes from the following amazing companies;

OWH Finish Strong Memorial Day Blog Hop!

Happy Hopping!!!  It's Memorial Day weekend and that means it's time for Operation Write Home's Blog Hop!  The theme is a little different this year.....

Operation Write Home, a charity that has supported heroes with handmade cards since 2007, will be closing later this year.  All cards need to be sent in by August 1st, so I'm helping to get the word out!  I'll be posting various cards I'm donating over the next two months to help inspire you all to create cards to donate!!


This is the card I created for the blog hop.  There is another card coming that's a blingier version, I'll share that in a bit.


And a couple challenges, cause what's a blog post without challenges?!?
