California Gurl

The minute I saw this digi, I heard "California Gurls" by Katy Perry in my head.  Needless to say I grabbed my Ultimate Confection CD and got to creating.  I actually colored her with blue hair at first to match Katy in the video, but I wasn't happy with that so I started over.

    This card made me smile and want to head for the beach (not necessarily in a bikini, but to the beach nonetheless)! I love the way you were inspired to create this piece and how you even wanted to pay homage to Katy Perry with your sassy girl's blue hair! I had total sympathy for you when you said you didn't like how it turned out and had to start over. BEEN THERE!!!! But I'm so glad you endured because the end result is gorgeous! Thank you so much for sharing your talents with us for this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
