Pastel Experiment

Hi all.  I'm still playing around with making my own texture paste (since I could just about use the Ranger stuff on every project I make and at $8 a jar I'd go bankrupt!  Plus I can't get it locally :( ) and this batch seems a bit smoother. I got a new stencil to play with and decided to make a tag for the latest Tis The Season Stamping challenge!  It calls for pastel colors...

I made this tag, and I may later turn it into a card and give it further embellishment, not sure yet.

I'm just entering it in a few challenges:

Thanks so much for looking and happy crafting!  The Christmas countdown is ON!  Laters!

  1. Wow, Lisa, your tag is so pretty! Love how you used the colors, and managed to make a scene on your tag. Thanks for playing with us at 'Tis the Season.

  2. Lisa, this is a great tag! I'm not familiar with that product that you used, but it looks so cool! I really like how the base of the tag goes from the saffron to the pink to the blue. Very cool. The big bow is great and the snowflake is great, too.

  5. What a beautiful tag Lisa! The soft colors layered like that just look so pretty, and your stenciling is a perfect way to highlight the background!
