Music Fueled Art

I got out all my Itty Bitty Unity stamps tonight and was playing an old Bangles greatest hits CD, and this card just came together sort of all on its own.  I used to looooove The Bangles.  My very first tape that wasn't a cassingle (who else remembers those???) was The Bangles.  Ah, memories!

Star Wars Day = Out of My Comfort Zone!

Happy Force Friday!  I'm the first to admit that I'm NOT a Star Wars fan.  I don't understand the Jedi, I don't get the Sith, and I certainly don't get why Yoda talks backwards.  BUT I totally respect that some people do, and as the sister of a huge SW fan, I've made my share of SW crafts.  Had the idea for this one literally in the last hour.  LOVE how it turned out!!!

**SKETCH** New Challenge from The Craft Garden!!

I'm a few days late on this, but it's here!!  Our new challenge has started at The Craft Garden and our theme is this lovely sketch:

This was a real struggle because, to me, it definitely looks more like a scrapbook sketch and I'm almost exclusively a cardmaker (at the moment--I change that up from time to time :D).  I literally pulled a stamp out of a box and decided to build my card around it.

HAPPY STAMPTEMBER!!!!!!!

Welcome to September, the official month for STAMPING!!!  This month means BIG SALES, new releases and special events and stamp sets alllllll over the internet.  I LOVE IT!!

Gearing up for this month, I decided that it was important I set myself an interesting goal for this month.  I figured stamping every day wasn't really sufficient cause I stamp almost every day as it is.  So I thought about it and decided that I had to instead create a minimum of thirty cards this month and each one had to have stamping that was NOT sentiment-related.  Let's see how this goes!!!!
