I'm playing with the Curtis background stamp from CAS-ual Fridays, the Lovely stamp set from CAS-ual Fridays and several sets of Distress Ink Minis: 12, 13, 14 and 15. All these products can be found at Laura's Loft!
I did a resist technique for my background with watercolor paper and Distress Inks. I couldn't find my craft sheet so I just smooshed the pads onto a plastic bag and sprayed it with water! The embossing resisted the ink and I could dip my paper or drag it across the wet ink multiple times until I got the look I desired.
