I cannot believe National Scrapbooking Month is OVER!  I've had a crazy month, what with the Mega Meet and all the projects I've made and shopping I've done!!!

This last one was such a labor of love!  I would've NEVER gone through all this trouble if it wasn't for someone I love LOL!  My brother asked me to make these for a video game tournament he had, and I think they turned out really great!!

**ANIMALS/ANYTHING GOES** New Challenge with Creative Moments

SUP - Momenta Brand Ambassador Post

Happy Hump Day!!  I've got another Momenta Brand Ambassador post for you today, a fun and Friend-ly one.  Ya'all know my favorite show of all time is Friends, and I was looking at my stickers today and BAM!  This card came together.  Super easy and super fun.  I used my favorite Bright Basics paper pad for the background on this card. I'll bet you think that's a background stamp.  It's a whole Momenta stamp set!  I simply left the stamps attached to the acrylic backing sheet, inked them all up at once to stamp them and voila!  Instant background stamp!  I made my SUP sentiment with Momenta chipboard alphabet stickers.  The banner strip was created with a Momenta alphabet stamp set.  A few rhinestones and my card is finished :)

ME WANT COOKIES! - Brea Reese Brand Ambassador Post

Happy Tuesday!  Did you know that today is Chocolate Chip Day?!?!  I thought that was the perfect theme for my latest Brea Reese brand ambassador!  I love cookies--who doesn't--and I used my favorite Brea Reese Glitter Inks and an ink smooshing technique to create my background.  It's really very simple to do, and it came together really quickly with just two colors, Gold and Raw Umber.  Another great item in the Brea Reese line is the Artist Acrylic Paint.  I like to mix paint so I blended colors to create the cookie base!   Black Paint Writer was used to create the chocolate chips.

Chocolate Chip Cookies mean a lot to me, because my grandmother used to always make them. She made hers HUGE and always made some without nuts in them for me.  She also went through a phase of using jumbo, mini and regular chocolate chips in the same batch.  That's what I tried to capture with the cookies on this card.  Some are all mini, some all standard size, some a mixture, just like my grandma's were.

Anyways, I just love this stamp.  And I think you can send love cards all year long, why focus on just one week in February???

I used some awesome Momenta products on this card!  Modeling Paste and Foil Stickers, I love quick ways to add awesome accents to my cards.

*if you didn't watch the show Gossip Girl I apologize.  It was books first you see, and they went rogue with the series and made the actual character of Gossip Girl someone that it never could've been, ever.  And I'm still mad about it.

Scenic Route - Momenta Brand Ambassador Post!!

Happy Friday!!  I'm kicking off my weekend with another Momenta Brand Ambassador post for you today.  On my way out the door yesterday I discovered I needed an encouraging card for someone about to start a new chapter in their life. With literally minutes to make a card, I grabbed my foiled paper pad and wooden stickers and BOOM!  Instant awesome card.  The recipient loved it, I hope you do too.

Ocean Explorer - Brea Reese Brand Ambassador Post

Happy Tuesday!  I've got another Brea Reese brand ambassador post today, and it's all about mermaids!!  This week I'm experimenting with the Brea Reese Glitter Inks and a faux alcohol ink look.  I really wanted to achieve that because my chemical allergies keep me from playing with alcohol inks.  That's another thing I love about the entire Brea Reese line.  It's low or no odor so nothing sets off my allergies!!  I used felt to apply just one color, Ultramarine Blue, diluted with water.  By sliding the ink and the water back and forth and then dabbing the ink on, it dried with this awesome finish that looks like moving water. 

Wanna know how I got the color on the glitter die cuts?  Brea Reese Alcohol Markers!  I used the Brights and Pastels sets.  They blended over the glitter beautifully and it didn't damage the tip.

Happy National Scrapbook Month everyone!!  I am NOT a big scrapbooker, but I do love the idea of papercrafting that's not just cards!!  I use all the scrapbooking supplies to make my cards, and I want to share some of those projects this month.

Today's is a home decor piece that's really a gift--it's a lottery ticket holder!

I don't have any photos of it with tickets clipped on, but it's actually made of hundreds of hearts in four different colors.
