Friday Friends with Frames

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!  It's Friday and that means it's time for Unity Friday Friends with Flair!  It's my last Unity Halloween card for the year (possibly) and I'm soooo happy with how it turned out.  It was another rushed job (it IS Halloween after all!!) but I love it.

Mixed Media? CHECK!!!

I've been trying to finish a mixed media project for the longest time and today?  I finally finished one!!  It's actually a gift for a friend so shhhhh, don't tell her!!

Not All Halloween Houses Are Haunted

I mean if you really think about it, this house looks....occupied rather than haunted, right? :D  I just love how this card turned out and I especially love the kick of the textured glitter paper.

Happy Haunting!!

Happy One Week 'til Halloween!!  Still in the spooky phase of my holiday crafting and I've got another Halloween card to share with you!  I'd love to be able to say I'll be posting one every day until Halloween, but I make no promises.

Sketch Fail

I had SUCH a crazy week.  Headaches and fighting a cold and a stamp show, it's been nuts.  Last minute as always for Tis The Season Stamping and omg I just lost my way 110%!!  But one of my goals for this year was to embrace everything, even when the art SUCKS, so I'm entering it anyways.


The only challenge I'm entering this in is the sketch challenge at Tis The Season Stamping.  Tomorrow's artwork will be better.  Laters!

OWH Christmas Card Drive

I'm always compiling cards for Operation Write Home, but I just read that they're short on Christmas cards so I got cracking on some to send them this weekend.  They requested cards with a dog on them and while I shop for a Christmasy doggie stamp (or find my Santa hat stamp to add to dogs I already have), I wanted to go ahead and make something.  I like to follow sketches when I'm tending towards a CAS card, so I turned to Sketch Saturday for a layout idea. I actually love t.

**ANYTHING GOES** New Challenge with Crafting From The Heart!!

**RECIPE/ANYTHING GOES** New Challenge With Creative Moments!!!

Happy Hump Day everyone!  It's time for another fun-filled challenge at Creative Moments and this fortnight we've got a fun Recipe challenge for you!  Use one layer, two charms and three flowers!!  Of course you can always play along with an Anything Goes project, but this was a REAL challenge for me and I encourage you all to try it!  One layer cards are NOT my forte, but I gave it my all.  Our lovely sponsor this challenge is the always-amazing The East Wind.  Beautifully unique digi stamps with an Asian flair to them.  I chose to use Lucy Loo Star Struck for this card.

**PHOTO INSPIRATION** New Challenge With The Craft Garden!!

It's the first of the month and that means another fun challenge at The Craft Garden!!  Our theme this month is Photo Inspiration, we wanna see what you are inspired to create from this photo:


The very first thing I thought was FAIRY!!!  I love fall colors, so I came up with this:


I know it doesn't really show up in the photo, but the heart and the word love are shimmery, as is the fairy.  Her wings have two coats of shimmer to make her look fluttery.  Oh, and the flowers are shimmery too.
