STAMPtember - Day Thirty - Lookout for Wonder

Happy Monday!!  I cannot believe this month is over already!!!  It's been a whirlwind, that's for sure!  Lots of new stamps may or may not have come into my craft room over the past thirty days, and I've definitely gotten some great cards made.  I just love this time of year because it's fall which means Halloween and my birthday and CHRISTMAS!!  My favorite season lemme tell ya. Anyways, with this last farewell to warm weather I made--wait for it--a  mermaid card!

To make my mermaid card even more special, I used mermaid sequins!!!

STAMPtember - Day Twenty-Two - It was 25 Years Ago Today.....

It's no secret that Friends is my favorite show of all time.  It's seriously the best thing ever created anywhere ever and if you didn't know that, well, you've clearly never seen it because OMG.  I laugh everytime I watch it and I've seen every episode a thousand times, easy.

ANYWAYS.  That show is TWENTY-FIVE YEARS OLD TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!

So I of course made an amazing card to celebrate it today!

The six colors of coffee cups represent the six Friends (the center cup is blue, for Chandler, because he's my favorite), and the hearts are the same colors as the dots in the Friends opening sequence.  I'm so happy with how this turned out.  And I know it's hard to tell in the photos, but there are actually six colors of microbeads in the shaker, to represent the characters.

Everyone of us has the ability in us to make stuff happen.  Some of can make amazing things like cleaning up the environment happen.

Me, I get a great deal on a stack of cardstock and that's my amazing for the week.

We all bring our own cards to the table, right?

My point is that there's nothing stopping any of us from doing what we want to do.  And there's nothing wrong with shopping being what you want to do!

STAMPtember - Day Fourteen - A Blast From My Past

So I may have mentioned the ridiculous feat I'm attempting to overhaul and redo my entire crafting stash.  It's really not something I ever should've endeavored but whatever.  So I was going through a box of stickers, and I found a card I started in 2005!!  Do you even believe this?  It was unfinished and what I had assembled was coming apart because those were still the dark days when I used the (useless) Tombow tape runner.  So I carefully took the rest of it apart and reassembled it, adding embellies and dimension because it's a different crafting world now. I'm pretty happy with the turnout.

I'm actually kind of hoping I find other started cards in the melee, it might be fun to see what I can do with them.

Ya'all know I'm a Twihard!!  Every year I make a birthday card for the lovely Mrs. Cullen, usually inspired by the books/movie in one way or another.  This one just sorta came together out of nowhere but I just LOVE it!!  I kind of feel like Nessie would've ordered it for her because it's HER style rather than Bella's, ya know??

And I thought the sentiment was hilarious considering she's a vampire :D
